December is the time to regroup and think and plan ahead for the coming year. For now we have at least 2 High Court trials in pipeline, and 1 appeal to the Court of Appeal and a few other matters that are looking to become contentious (shareholders fights either in Court or in arbitration).

We are looking to strengthen our team with one more capable solid junior lawyer (ie called to the Bar in 2024 or 2025) or to be called in April / May 2026. We are looking for solid academic credentials, team-players and determined individuals who are go-getters and seek to do their best and grow in every opportunity.

The lucky junior lawyer who joins us will work in a collegiate environment and a flat structure, where the team is passionate about the work and doing their best for our clients.

Our team is also fortunate to have been instructed on many cases where the law is developing (novel and complex) and there’s a real opportunity to push the boundaries based on the case law. We are constantly learning and growing so the environment is very growth oriented, forward-looking and tech-focussed.

Despite being pitted against large teams (sometimes led by SCs or KCs) or international firms, my mindset is always to focus on what is before us, have courage and faith, and do our best and leave the rest to the Court / Tribunal.

Coming to work everyday is exciting and an adventure and I look forward to having one more young lawyer join us in the meaningful work we do!
